Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease which is commonly know an acid reflux is an uncomfortable condition in which the digestive content along with acid flows back to esophagus. The major cause of this problem is due t the irregular contraction and expansion of lower esophageal sphincters (LES). If you delay emptying of your stomach then also you can face the problem of acid reflux.

As a result of inflammation in the lining of esophagus the patient feels heartburn. If this condition occurs repeatedly then the pH of the acid is usually very low so it causes esophagitis i.e. inflammation in the esophagus lining.

It is referred to as heartburn because it feels like a heart attack. Actually the burning sensation is felt on the chest because the esophagus is located near heart. Remember that the burning sensation is felt after the meal and this is the symptom which confirms that it is acid reflux.

Another symptom is nausea and urge to vomit is another symptom of GERD. Actually the digestive content with acid is pushed back to esophagus and so to the mouth too. This is the reason why the taste of the mouth also becomes acidic. As we have mentioned above that the LES is actually the main reason of all this.

If the problem is ignored and left untreated if it happens continuously then it can cause esophageal ulcers too. Sometimes it can lead to more complication and the bleeding of the esophagus can also be noticed. It is very important to correct it otherwise it can trigger shock as well as death as well.

Another one of the many acid reflux symptoms is Esophageal bleeding. Esophageal bleeding can occur in the stool as well as in the vomit too. Leaving it untreated can lead to various complications and in some cases it can lead to shock or death as well.

If the episodes of acid reflux continue then a situation can become worst as it could lead to spasm of larynx or sound box and so result in dyspnea as well as cough. Dyspnea is a condition in which the patient feels difficulty in breathing. In case of severe acid reflux there are chances of aspiration pneumonia too. The main cause of aspiration pneumonia is basically the aspiration of vomitus which damages the lungs. Some cases of acid reflux show the symptoms of cough instead of burning sensation.

It is quite better to prevent the disease before it gets worst and so we can save ourselves from complications.

Among all types of diet plans available today for body detoxification, Master cleanse is found and has been proven to be the best and the cheapest. Many people including celebrities opt for this diet plan. With all its positive aspects there underlies a question, if the master cleanse is that safe as people think.

The Working Of The Master Cleanse Diet?
The Master cleanse detox diet has no chemical or drug related therapy. It is basically organic and constitutes fresh lemon, maple syrup (grade B), cayenne pepper, water and sea salt. This lemon mixture as it referred to as lemonade diet is the only diet which has to be taken at least for ten days. It helps in detoxification and loss of weight. The diet intake should be at least twelve glasses daily. Moreover, herbal tea twice a day can also be taken as a supplementary to the lemonade juice.

The lemon juice acts as an alkaline agent and thus a cleansing item although it consists of citric acid. This helps in flushing out the toxin from the stomach as well as the intestines. The other ingredient cayenne pepper acts as a catalyst to improve the metabolic reaction and burn the accumulated fats.

The master cleanse detox diet is devoid of calories, carbohydrates and protein and therefore many people consider it to be non-nutritional diet. A person needs 1400 to 1600 Calories per day for nourishment but the lemonade diet provides only 100 calories. This is the reason people lose weight fast but eventually it is a better detoxifying and weight loss plan. This plan is a type of starvation where the body needs energy to compensate for the loss of food. During such process the accumulated fats gets burned and converted to energy.

There is no second opinion about the master cleanse diet plan. It is an effective and result oriented diet plan that helps in shedding fats and simultaneously detoxifying the body. However, this detox diet should be undertaken on a short term basis and should not be prolonged. If you want to continue the plan further then you can add fruit juice vegetable soups and necessary grains which can sustain you for a prolonged period. There are people who skip their lunch but eat their breakfast and dinner. But that will depend on your doctor’s advice which plan condition is best suited for your health conditions.

This is perhaps a better way because you need not starve but still reap the benefits of detoxification and weight loss program. However, to follow master cleanse detox diet plan in its strictest form it is prudent to take the advice of the doctor.
